Job Summary
Drive all people activities and initiatives for the Avon, NY plant, supporting the Plant Manager and leading efforts in people development, talent pipeline, and cultural transformation. Own critical HR processes including strategic workforce planning, compensation command, and relentless process improvement while managing a team of HR professionals. Forge relationships with 250 union employees and salaried leaders to champion engagement, ensure compliance with employment laws, and leverage data for business decisions. Lead the People, Learning and Development Pillar to integrate continuous improvement into organizational processes and achieve KPI goals.
Required Qualifications
- 5 Years of Experience as a Human Resources Business Partner supporting employees within a manufacturing, distribution, retail, or hospitality environment
- Union Experience
- Strong eye for business
- Project management
- Technical proficiency in workplace technology and systems (eg. Workday, Kronos, MS Office Suite, etc.)
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership and other key customers
- Influencing through data and insights
- Excellent organization and time management skills in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Leading change through others
- Adaptability – Maintaining effectiveness in the face of changing priorities and tasks, ability to manage multiple assignments
