Job Summary
HR Business Partner for Manufacturing operations in Pindamonhangaba, providing strategic HR support to production, maintenance, logistics, quality, and EHS teams. Requires deep industrial experience, hands-on shop-floor presence, and solid knowledge of Brazilian labor legislation (CLT). Responsible for HR processes, compliance, employee experience, and development initiatives to enable operational excellence. Plant-focused responsibilities include employee relations, disciplinary actions, attendance and turnover management, recruitment and onboarding for operational roles, posting and implementing performance cycles, calibration and succession planning, training and development, labor audits and compliance, KPI monitoring (turnover, absenteeism, training compliance, headcount), and collaboration with EHS on safety and regulatory compliance. Partner with leaders to maintain a stable, high-performance environment aligned with Neogen’s values and Lean manufacturing initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Experience as HR Business Partner in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of Brazilian labor law (CLT)
- Hands-on presence on the shop floor
- Recruitment and onboarding for operational roles
- Employee relations, disciplinary actions, absenteeism, turnover and engagement
- Labor compliance, shift work, overtime, and leave management
- Collaboration with EHS on safety investigations and compliance
- HR KPI monitoring (turnover, absenteeism, training compliance)
- Performance management, calibration, development, and succession planning
- Training and development program execution for operators and supervisors
- Continuous improvement / lean manufacturing experience
- Audits (labor and internal) and corporate compliance requirements
