Job Summary
Provide trusted HR advice and support to leaders across the portfolio, partnering with the HR Lead to deliver people initiatives and workforce solutions aligned to business priorities. Support organisational design activities including job analysis, job evaluation, and position design, while assisting with employee relations matters such as grievances, workplace concerns, and policy interpretation. Offer coaching and guidance to leaders on performance management, employee development, and workforce planning, and prepare HR documentation including consultation materials, letters, position descriptions, and reporting. Build productive stakeholder relationships and confidently manage competing priorities and timelines to contribute to engagement, retention, and capability-building initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Employee Relations, or a related discipline
- 3 to 5 years' experience in an HR Advisor, Senior HR Advisor or similar generalist HR role
- Exposure to organisational change, restructures, workforce planning or organisational design activities
- Experience supporting employee relations matters including performance management and grievances
- Strong understanding of employment legislation, modern awards and HR best practice
- Ability to build credibility and influence stakeholders at varying levels across the organisation
- High level interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence and professional judgement
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Confident communication skills with the ability to facilitate conversations and negotiate outcomes
- Positive, proactive approach with a willingness to learn, grow and contribute within a collaborative team environment
- National police history check
- Clearance to work with children/vulnerable people
