Job Summary

HR Business Partner serves as a strategic HR consultant to leaders across multiple service lines, aligning workforce strategies with organizational objectives and growth initiatives. Partners with leaders on workforce planning, employee relations, talent management, leadership coaching, performance management, organizational effectiveness, succession planning, and change management to support a high-performing culture within healthcare, ambulatory services, physician practices, behavioral health, medical education, and corporate departments. Responsibilities include guiding investigations into policy violations, ensuring consistent application of HR policies, supporting talent reviews and development plans, driving engagement and retention initiatives, and using workforce analytics to inform leadership decisions. Requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least five years of HR-related experience; preferred certifications include SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP or PHR/SPHR. On-site role with frequent interaction across clinical and administrative settings; some evenings/weekends may be required. Core competencies include strategic partnership, change management, talent development, data-driven decision making, collaboration, integrity, and confidentiality.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Organizational Development, or related field (preferred)
  • Minimum five (5) years in an HR Business Partner, HR Generalist, Employee Relations, or related consultative HR role
  • Experience supporting healthcare organizations, physician practices, academic medicine, behavioral health, or large complex organizations (preferred)
  • Experience advising leaders on employee relations, organizational development, and workforce strategy
  • Certifications such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and employee relations principles
