HR Business Partner Manager

Job Summary
Partner with senior leaders to develop and execute workforce strategies aligned with business goals and lead change management initiatives for restructuring, growth, and transformation. Drive employee engagement and retention while resolving complex employee relations issues and facilitating sensitive conversations to enhance the employee experience. Utilize HR data insights to inform recommendations, manage organizational design efforts, and coach a team of HR Business Partners through hiring and performance management. Operate with high autonomy, advising leadership on change implications and leading internal HR projects within an acute care medical center environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive Human Resources experience
- Minimum of 2 years of direct people leadership experience
- Demonstrated experience across multiple HR disciplines, with strong knowledge of applicable labor and employment laws
- Proven ability to influence and drive outcomes without direct authority
- Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity and operate effectively in a dynamic environment
- Experience with complex employee relations investigations
- Experience advising senior leadership
- Experience in organizational change or transformation
- Experience in acute care, hospital, or academic medical center environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and virtual communication platforms
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with Joint Commission, Magnet designation, or other healthcare accreditation standards
- Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday)
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR)
