Job Summary
Strategic HRBP partnering with line managers to advise on HR initiatives, lead disciplinary procedures, manage BCEA leave compliance, oversee performance management, support recruitment and onboarding, develop and update HR policies in line with legislation, drive employee wellness and engagement, maintain HRIS data and monthly metrics, support Employment Equity planning, liaise with CCMA, coordinate training needs, manage alumni communications, and set up and implement a people strategy.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related field
- Current SABPP registration — HR Practitioner level or higher
- Minimum 5 - 10 years' experience in a generalist HR role, with at least 3 years in an HRBP capacity
- Solid knowledge of South African labour legislation: LRA, BCEA, EEA, SDA, OHSA
- Proven track record in disciplinary hearings and managing complex ER matters
- Experience administering and interpreting leave policies in line with BCEA requirements
