Job Summary
Strategic HR Business Partner located in Albuquerque, NM to support two Legence-affiliated mechanical contracting companies (Yearout and IMD) with ~700 employees. Partner with leadership to align HR initiatives with business objectives, influence leadership, and drive HR programs across talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, HRIS, payroll, and employee relations. Must be able to navigate a fast-paced HR environment, communicate effectively with senior leaders, manage change, and work with a unionized workforce. Requires ability to develop relationships, balance business unit needs with company vision, and operate with a risk and compliance mindset. Requires proficiency with Microsoft Office; Bachelor’s degree preferred in HR or related field; 5-7 years of HR experience; experience with unionized workforce preferred. Visa sponsorship is not available.

- Minimum of 5-7 years of HR experience
- Experience with unionized workforce preferred
- Knowledge of Federal and state employment laws and regulations
- Strong communication and influencing abilities
- Strategic thinking and business acumen
- Experience leading HR programs across compensation, benefits, HRIS, payroll, talent acquisition, and development
