Job Summary
HR Business Partner - Labor & Employee Relations in a not-for-profit healthcare setting. Lead or support collective bargaining negotiations and interpret/enforce labor contracts. Oversee the grievance process, mediate disputes, and represent the organization in arbitration. Advise senior leadership on labor strategy, workforce dynamics, and labor-related risks. Mediate and resolve workplace disputes, conduct confidential investigations into employee complaints, and recommend corrective actions. Advise and coach managers on performance issues and disciplinary processes. Track employee relations data and conduct exit interviews to identify organizational improvements. Assist in developing and implementing personnel policies, ensure compliance with employment laws, and provide department reporting and cross-team support.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- PHR/SPHR or SHRM certification preferred
- 5+ years HR Labor and Employee Relations experience
- Healthcare HR experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of HR/Labor laws
- Ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
