Job Summary
HR Business Partner II provides strategic HR support and coaching to senior managers in assigned business lines (Retail and Business Banking) in the Greater Washington Market. Partners with HR COEs to drive business value, leads human capital plans, supports workforce planning, talent development, and organizational design, and steers cyclical HR events (engagement, talent calibration, performance and compensation cycles). Collaborates with cross-functional partners, leverages HRIS data for recommendations, and ensures compliance with risk standards while promoting diversity and company values. Location: Rockville, Maryland; focuses on delivering business-aligned HR solutions and enabling leadership accountability across the function.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 4 years’ general HR and/or relevant operational business line experience, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 8 years’ higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 4 years’ general HR and/or operational business line experience
