Job Summary
HR Business Partner serves as a strategic and operational partner across assigned regions, providing expert guidance in employee relations, labor relations, HR compliance, and workplace strategy. This role manages complex employee issues, conducts workplace investigations, supports a union environment, and drives initiatives related to retention, performance and organizational effectiveness across a multi-state workforce. Responsibilities include coaching managers on employee issues, ensuring consistent and compliant actions, conducting impartial investigations, analyzing turnover, partnering on salary offers and pay decisions, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws across states. The position requires collaboration with leaders and HR partners to improve employee experience and organizational risk management, and may involve supporting both remote and onsite workforces. Preferred qualifications include HR certifications and experience in unionized healthcare environments, plus experience with compensation decisions and HR policy development.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent of education and experience
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive HR experience
- Working knowledge of federal, state and local employment laws, including multi-state compliance
- Experience supporting both remote and onsite workforces across multiple locations
