Job Summary
Partner with leaders and employees to support day-to-day HR operations, driving a positive employee experience through guidance on employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, and compliance. Provide support for employee investigations, conflict resolution, and workplace concerns while maintaining accurate HRIS data and processing personnel changes. Prepare workforce metrics, conduct exit interviews, and ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws. Promote a positive work environment via engagement initiatives and organizational change strategies. Based in Cullman, AL, this role requires occasional travel and involves prolonged computer use in a manufacturing office environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field or equivalent in related work experience
- 3 or more years of experience as an HR Generalist
- 3-5 years of progressive Human Resources experience
- Experience supporting employee relations, recruiting, and performance management required
- Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
- Strong communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Proficiency with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
- This position will be in a manufacturing office environment
- This position may require occasional travel to company locations, meetings, conferences, or other business-related events as needed
- Based: Cullman, AL
- This is primarily an office-based position requiring prolonged sitting, standing, computer use, and regular communication with employees and business partners
- Occasional lifting and carrying of materials, supplies, or equipment up to 25 pounds may be required
- Excellent vision, hearing, speech and motor skills are required to perform essential functions of the job
Desired Qualifications
- SHRM-CP or PHR Certification a plus
- Manufacturing, distribution, or multi-site experience preferred
