Job Summary
HR Business Partner (Employee Relations) at SpaceX responsible for partnering with employees and leaders to drive HR programs, advise on policies, manage employee relations issues, support retention and development, and collaborate with HR functions (recruiting, training, compensation, benefits) to optimize programs. Role includes handling inquiries and issues, guiding managers and staff on policy and compliance, facilitating internal transfers and promotions, maintaining confidentiality, and processing HR transactions in Workday. Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in HR, with preference for experience in engineering/manufacturing environments and proficiency with Greenhouse, UltiPro, or Workday; relocation if not local to Redmond, WA; ability to travel and extended hours as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2+ years of human resources experience
- Experience in an engineering, production or manufacturing environment supporting an exempt and hourly workforce
- Familiarity with Greenhouse, UltiPro, and/or Workday
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to use independent judgment to make decisions as well as organize and prioritize work
- Demonstrated excellence thriving in a fast-paced environment
- Must be willing to travel to other SpaceX locations
- This is not a remote or hybrid position and will require relocation if not already local to the Redmond, WA area
