Job Summary
Execute strategic HR partnerships with US Business Heads to align talent with business strategy and drive organizational objectives. Manage end-to-end HR program execution, including talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, performance appraisals, and training, while ensuring regulatory and legal compliance across all locations. Lead employee relations, handle grievances and disciplinary matters, and facilitate onboarding and periodic training sessions. Coordinate with Centers of Expertise to deliver support and leverage project management skills to implement new structures and systems. Provide thought leadership to managers on people management and organizational effectiveness, offering counsel on high-growth change initiatives. This 100% in-office role requires a foundation of technical HR knowledge, strong US employment law understanding, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced insurance environment.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of progressive HR experience
- foundation of technical knowledge in key HR disciplines
- Strong business acumen
- preferably in the insurance industry
- Knowledge, understanding of, and passion about US employment law
- Strengths in the area of written and verbal communication
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Ability to build credibility and trust with leaders
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
