Job Summary
Collaborate with plant managers and department heads to align HR strategies with production goals and identify workforce needs. Serve as the primary contact for employee concerns, grievances, and conflict resolution while overseeing payroll, attendance, and workforce scheduling systems. Analyze HR metrics to recommend improvements and ensure adherence to federal, state, and local labor laws, OSHA regulations, and company policies. Lead recruitment for skilled trades and technicians, partner with local trade schools to develop pipelines, and implement performance management processes with coaching for managers. Drive employee engagement initiatives to improve retention and morale while reinforcing a culture of safety through partnership with the EHS team. Generally working in an office with some activities in the production environment, with occasional domestic day or overnight travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of HR experience
- 2 years in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- experience within a global organization
- Strong knowledge of state and federal labor law
