Job Summary
Partner with leaders and managers to provide HR guidance across employee relations, performance management, compensation, benefits, talent management, and workplace health and safety. Support compliance by reviewing, developing, and recommending updates to policies and procedures. Manage full-cycle recruitment, including screening, interviewing, background checks, and preparing employment agreements. Coordinate onboarding, offboarding, and exit interviews while ensuring accurate HRIS data entry. Respond to employment inquiries from applicants and supervisors, and analyze HR data to prepare reports for workforce planning. Lead HR projects from planning through implementation, maintain confidential employee files, and provide mentorship on people management practices. Work onsite in downtown Vancouver from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary degree, diploma or certificate in Human Resources Management; or related field
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience as a Business Partner, Generalist, or Advisor role
- CPHR or SHRM-CP designation
- Strong knowledge of the Employment Standards Act, Human Rights and WorkSafe legislation, as well as human resources management fundamentals
- Experience with HRIS/ATS/Payroll Systems
- Strong business acumen with the ability to understand operational priorities and align HR recommendations with business needs
- Ability to build credible, collaborative relationships

- 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday onsite in our downtown Vancouver location
