Job Summary
Partner with leaders across Retail, Distribution Centre, and Support Office functions to align people strategies with commercial objectives. Coach leaders through performance, engagement, and organisational change challenges while managing workforce planning, employee relations, and Work Health & Safety compliance. Lead the performance review cycle, drive succession pipelines, and oversee incident management and workers compensation initiatives. Identify capability gaps to build strong talent strategies and champion continuous improvement across policies and systems. Support recruitment during peak periods and foster a proactive safety culture within a geographically dispersed workforce.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience as an HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor within a fast-paced environment
- Experience partnering with operational leaders across a multi-site workforce
- Strong knowledge of Fair Work legislation, Awards, National Employment Standards and employment law
- Proven experience managing complex employee relations matters, investigations and performance management
- Experience supporting organisational change, workforce planning and leadership development
- Sound understanding of Work Health & Safety legislation, workers compensation and risk management
- Excellent coaching, influencing and stakeholder management skills
- Commercial mindset with the ability to balance people outcomes with business objectives
- Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities and build trusted relationships
Desired Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline (preferred)
- Experience within retail, logistics or another operational environment will be highly regarded
