HR Business Analyst - Workday HCM

Job Summary
HR Business Analyst focused on Workday HCM administration and data quality; serves as a partner to managers and employees. Responsibilities include onboarding, guidance on performance management, handling employee relations, and supporting audits and compliance. Administers and optimizes Workday HCM transactions (hiring, changes, terminations), supports leave processing (FMLA, ADA, STD/LTD, parental, military, personal), and contributes to HR reporting and analytics (headcount, turnover, ACA/EEO1). Collaborates with IT, Payroll, Benefits, and Finance to ensure data integrity and smooth HR processes; seeks continuous improvement of Workday processes and documentation. Educational requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 2-4 years of HR experience; Workday HCM experience and certification are highly preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- 2-4 years of experience in an HR Generalist, HR Operations, HR Coordinator, or similar role
- Workday HCM Certificate or equivalent highly preferred
- Hands-on experience using Workday HCM
- Strong knowledge of core HR practices, employment laws, and HR operations
- Strong Excel proficiency
- Ability to navigate Workday HCM systems and explain processes to managers and employees
