Job Summary
HR Assistant / Recruiter in Charlotte, NC supporting recruiting, onboarding, employee documentation, and day-to-day HR administrative needs. Responsibilities include managing job board postings and candidate responses, sourcing and screening candidates by phone and email, scheduling and conducting interviews (phone, video, and in-person), assisting with onboarding and collecting required documentation, creating and maintaining job descriptions and postings, helping define hiring criteria, maintaining accurate employee records and HR documentation, supporting HR paperwork/audits, answering employee questions on HR policies, and maintaining confidentiality. Requires prior HR/recruiting/administrative experience, proficiency with job boards/ATS, strong communication, discretion with confidential information, and solid organizational skills. This is a full-time, in-person role based in Charlotte, with daytime hours, Monday through Friday, in-person.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in recruiting, HR, hiring, or a related administrative role
- Experience using job boards, resume databases, sourcing tools, or Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Professional and friendly phone and email etiquette
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects at once
- Basic knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and employment procedures preferred
