Job Summary
HR Assistant supporting the HR team with administrative duties across onboarding, employee records management, audits, data entry into HRIS, processing offer letters and employee agreements, license management, travel planning, event support, and responding to routine HR questions. Focus areas include internal auditing of employee files, updating records (name, position, address, terminations), maintaining confidentiality, and assisting with benefits, continuing education, scholarship processing, and general administrative tasks to ensure a positive Day One experience for new hires.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field, or equivalent related experience
- Proficiency in filing, keyboarding, secretarial, and office clerical skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Effective multitasking and project management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity in handling HR data
- Proficiency with payroll management, HRIS, and Microsoft Office Suite
