Job Summary
Manage intern and fellowship programs by coordinating with the Civil Service Human Resources Office to place domestic and overseas students, including Pickering and Rangel Fellows. Track employee leave restoration requests and process incoming Entry on Duty documents for family member appointments. Serve as the backup Bureau Awards Coordinator to assist with processing award nominations for bureau employees. Maintain a constant state of mental alertness while working onsite during standard domestic office hours, with potential for overtime and travel as required.
Required Qualifications
- A school diploma or equivalent
- Must have a Secret clearance
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening
- Must have acceptable background check results
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate clearance levels required
- Must be able to obtain access to military installations
- Must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty
- Must maintain a constant state of mental alertness
- Must maintain a constant state of situational awareness
- Must be able to work onsite
- Must be able to work domestic office hours 8:15 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday
- Must be able to work an alternative work schedule, including but not limited to Telework and Alternate Work Schedule, mutually agreed upon by the COR or GTM and the resource
- Must be able to work overtime (OT) when work requirements extend beyond 40 hours per week
- Must be able to travel in accordance with the Federal Travel Regulation
