HR Advisor - Swanson

Job Summary
Provide day-to-day HR advice and support to leaders across New Zealand, partnering with depot managers on recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, and employee relations matters. Develop and improve HR policies, processes, and documentation while reviewing metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunities. Champion safe and healthy work practices and promote a positive workplace culture aligned with organizational values. This role reports to the Director of People, Safety & Culture at Ritchies, a leading passenger transport company employing over 2,000 people nationwide. Candidates must have at least three years' experience in an HR Advisor or similar generalist role, a tertiary qualification in Human Resources, and strong knowledge of New Zealand employment relations and HR best practice.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years' experience in an HR Advisor or similar generalist HR role
- Strong knowledge of New Zealand employment relations and HR best practice
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence working with HR systems and technology
- A collaborative, solutions-focused approach
- An appreciation for health, safety and wellbeing in the workplace
- Right to work in New Zealand at the time of application

Desired Qualifications
- A tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline (preferred)
