Job Summary
HR Advisor role providing HR advice, processes and policy coordination across Spirit Energy’s UK operations, including handling HR inquiries and communications via the HR inbox, supporting recruitment and headcount in Workday, managing leavers and employee relations support, coordinating payroll changes with external providers, and liaising with Occupational Health on sickness absence and substance misuse testing. Role involves a non-contractual hybrid arrangement with 4 days in the office (Tue–Thu mandatory) and a flexible 4th day (Mon or Fri) for in-office work; role requires right-to-work in the UK and offers PAYE day rate with no travel or accommodation allowance. A 2-year contract in Barrow-in-Furness, UK with a focus on delivering consistent HR service, policy adherence, and people solutions while collaborating across the organisation.
Required Qualifications
- Robust knowledge of applicable HR regulations and standards
- Spirit Energy HR policies and practices
- CIPD qualification preferred
- Excellent MS Office skills, especially Excel
- Experience with Workday preferred
- Strong organizational and collaboration skills
- Knowledge of HR disciplines and the HR role in organisations
- Keeps up to date on HR developments
