Job Summary
Deliver an effective HR service to assigned business areas by supporting People Leaders to implement policies and procedures in line with best practice. Liaise with business leaders to monitor HR practices, ensure compliance, and provide professional advice on disciplinary, grievance, performance management, and redundancy matters. Manage employee relations case management across the region, including attendance, restructures, and TUPE programmes, while advising on changes to terms and conditions. Represent the HR department at relevant meetings and support the wider team with recruitment plans and operational reports on engagement and absence trends. Work in partnership with the L&D Advisor to guide employees through the full lifecycle and maintain accurate People Platform records.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in a HR advisory role
- HR Degree or equivalent
- Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, or willing to work towards membership
- Planning/prioritising and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent negotiating and mediation skills with the ability to cope under pressure
- Full UK driving licence
- willingness to travel
- The successful candidate will require a PVG/Disclosure Check before starting in the job
