Job Summary
HR Advisor (Investigations Focus) responsible for leading and supporting workplace investigations into harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and unfair employment practices; conduct fact-finding with interviews and evidence analysis; prepare clear, legally defensible summaries and recommendations; partner with People Leaders to address findings and guide appropriate actions; coach leaders on handling employee concerns and preventing recurrence; collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence to standardize procedures; maintain accurate case documentation; may support accommodation cases and performance management consultations; required in this US-based role with a base pay range of $52,025 to $97,528.69 per year, and eligibility for an annual bonus (target 5%). The role emphasizes policy interpretation, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement of investigation procedures and documentation; strong understanding of employment laws and ability to engage with all levels of the organization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred or a minimum 4 years of progressive HR experience in lieu of a degree
- Minimum 3 years' experience in Human Resources in an HR Business Partner, Advisor, Manager or Generalist capacity
- Demonstrated experience conducting and managing investigations involving harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and policy violations with understanding of applicable employment laws
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to produce clear, thorough, legally defensible documentation
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple cases, and drive timely resolutions with minimal direction
- Strong consulting and relationship management skills; ability to influence leaders through difficult situations
- Analytical skills to identify trends, assess risk, and inform decision making
