HR Advisor - Field

Job Summary
Provide hands-on, operational HR advisory support for the hourly craft workforce in field environments, including workforce planning, rolling manpower forecasts, labour deployment, and employee lifecycle activities. Act as the primary HR contact for craft workers and site leaders, guiding employee experience, workforce matters, and HR policies. Coordinate onboarding, recruitment coordination, and offboarding for field roles; support performance management with site leadership; manage workforce movements and project assignments with timely communication to field teams and internal stakeholders. Contribute to field engagement and culture-building initiatives, strengthen skilled trades talent pipelines through events and partnerships, and maintain a visible HR presence on project sites. Proactively partner with Superintendents and Construction Leadership to ensure safe, efficient project execution and alignment with operational priorities and safety requirements.
Required Qualifications
- 2–4 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, workforce operations, or people-focused roles supporting operational, field-based, or project-driven environments.
- Experience supporting construction, skilled trades, or craft workforces is a strong asset.
