Job Summary
HR Advisor role supporting England operations in a fast-paced, operational environment. You will handle complex people matters end-to-end, including investigations, disciplinary, grievance, and absence cases; lead sickness absence management and return-to-work planning; support managers with maternity, family leave and flexible working processes; provide practical, commercially focused guidance to managers; maintain audit-ready case documentation; identify trends in employee relations and recommend proactive interventions; collaborate with HR Business Partners and HR Shared Services; support HR initiatives such as compensation reviews and organisational changes; CIPD-qualified (or working towards) with strong generalist HR experience and solid UK employment law knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- CIPD qualified (or working towards)
- Strong generalist HR experience
- Proven experience in independently managing complex employee relations cases
- Solid understanding of UK employment law and its practical application
- Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver to tight deadlines
- Comfortable working in a high-volume, reactive environment
- Experienced user of Microsoft Office applications and Access
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills
- Ability to establish and develop excellent client relationships (internal and external) to promote trust and confidence
- Proactive and solutions focused approach
