Job Summary
HR Administrator to support recruitment, onboarding and offboarding, health and safety administration, training coordination, and employee record management for NAITSA's ~95 employees. Reports to the HR Director, working on a 12-month contract (37.5 hours/week) from NAITSA's Edmonton campus. Role involves HRIS data accuracy, HR documentation, policy updates, and coordination of onboarding resources; hybrid work option after onboarding may be available. Requires HR-related diploma/degree or in-progress study, strong organizational and communications skills, and ability to handle confidential information.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or working towards completion (must be available to work full-time during business hours)
- Strong organizational and administrative skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- References and Security Clearance: Employment in this position is conditional upon successful completion of references and a Canadian Criminal Record check.
