Job Summary
Conduct visual inspections, weigh counting, and packaging of plastic parts while maintaining raw material supply and WIP inventory management. Move parts from injection molding machines to weigh scales, cut runners, and process manufactured parts per job instructions. Visually inspect product for defects, enter quality data on log sheets, and track accepted, rejected, and scrap product counts. Unload, move, and load materials into bins and dryers, store stock according to standards, and report inventory shortages. Clean, check, and set up material dryers, feeders, and loaders as required. Maintain an organized work area and lift up to 50 lbs. on all three shifts (1st, 2nd, & 3rd) with overtime as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-2 years experience in a manufacturing environment
- Injection Molding experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Analytical mindset
- Reasoning abilities
- Problem-solving skills
- Experience operating riding forklifts
- Successful completion of Fundamentals of Injection Molding Paulson Training
- Successful completion of Technology of Injection Molding - Level 1 Paulson Training
- English language proficiency to include verbal and written communication
- Ability to read/write English
- Ability to interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and production documentation
- Ability to maintain and understand records and data
- Ability to complete required documentation
- Ability to work with coworkers in a team environment

- Ability to perform basic math calculations
- Continuous mental and visual attention to production and quality of products
- Ability to work overtime as required
- Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings
- Must be able to stand entire shift (8+ hrs.)

- Moderate physical demand involving lifting and moving of materials and equipment
- Frequently moves from waist level to floor level
Desired Qualifications
- Injection Molding experience highly preferred
