Job Summary
Conduct hands-on analytical support for biotherapeutic process development teams by performing and optimizing assays for large molecule characterization. Analyze and interpret data to ensure accuracy and alignment with project goals while collaborating cross-functionally with process development, quality, and project teams. Maintain detailed documentation in accordance with regulatory standards and support troubleshooting and continuous improvement of analytical methods. Requires hands-on experience with HPLC, CGE, qPCR, and SEC-MALS, plus 3–5 years in a biotherapeutic development environment. Full-time 1st shift Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM. Located in Chesterfield, MO.
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Capillary Gel Electrophoresis (CGE)
- Hands-on experience with qPCR
- Hands-on experience with HPLC
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, Analytical Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline
- 3–5 years of relevant industry experience in a laboratory or biotherapeutic development environment
- Must have authorization to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with SEC-MALS (Size Exclusion Chromatography–Multi-Angle Light Scattering)
- NMR experience
- Mass spectrometry experience
- Experience working with electronic laboratory notebook (ELN) systems and/or GMP documentation practices
- Familiarity with Empower or OpenLab software
- Candidates located within a commutable distance to Chesterfield, MO
