HPE Networking Channel Sales Engineer

Job Summary
Create awareness and drive preference for HPE's AI-Native advanced networking solutions with channel partners. Provide technical leadership and support in engagements with new and existing partners by delivering presentations, training sessions, and hands-on demonstrations. Assist in developing sales strategies and proposals while building meaningful relationships with technical decision-makers. Stay updated with industry trends and technologies to provide feedback and insights to HPE's product team, becoming the voice of the field. This hybrid role requires two days per week in an HPE office in Rome, Italy, with a salary range of EUR 58,200 - 102,800.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 5-7 years of proven experience in sales engineering or a similar role, working for a vendor or value-added reseller
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
- Willingness to travel with a flexible attitude towards working patterns
- Multicultural awareness and ability to work in a diverse environment, independently and as part of a team
- Self-learner with a passion for continuous improvement and staying updated with the latest technologies
- Fluency in Italian and English
- Strong knowledge of Campus & Branch and Data Center technologies
- Proven experience designing, demonstrating, and/or implementing Campus Networks (wired, wireless, WAN, and security) and/or Data Centers (EVPN/VXLAN, IP fabrics)
- Hybrid work position, with two or more days of office attendance in Rome, Italy
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with HPE Networking products and solutions
- HPE Networking technical certifications (e.g., JNCIA, JNCIS, JNCIP, ACA, ACP, ACX) or equivalent industry or vendor technical certifications
- Knowledge of network virtualization, automation, programming, and APIs
