Job Summary
HPC Sr Staff Application Engineering for automotive SoC: Lead software implementation/evaluation and debugging on image accelerator (DSP) environments, provide technical support to Japanese OEMs, drive maturation of image accelerator software frameworks, and lead customer-facing solution demonstrations and technical notes. Collaborate with Sales, FAE, Product Marketing, and Systems Engineers to construct competitive application demos and support product promotion and business development. Stay current on advanced OS (QNX, Linux), RTOS, hypervisors, middleware, safety, and security trends to propose competitive solutions. Hybrid-work model with two remote days per week; office days Tue-Thu in Kodaira, Japan.
Required Qualifications
- Must: Software implementation/evaluation for image accelerators (DSPs) on ARM SoC using QNX/Linus environments; Technical support experience; 5+ years in automotive/compute server/robotics/industrial domains; Strong customer-value creation mindset; Knowledge of OS/RTOS, hypervisors, safety, and security solutions; Ability to lead improvements and collaborate with sales/FAE/product marketing/Systems engineers
Desired Qualifications
- Image accelerators (DSP) software implementation/ evaluation experience
- ARM SoC software programming (C) on QNX/Linux
- Technical support experience for automotive/compute servers/robotics/industrial domains
- ADAS system knowledge (Front Camera, Surround View) preferred
- Hybrid/remote-friendly collaboration skills
- Strong problem-solving and customer-value creation mindset
