Job Summary
Develop and sustain the GHOSTGEM software suite by implementing, testing, and integrating applications with COTS and FOSS products. Utilize Linux CLI tools, Bash, Python, and Java (Spring Framework) to build solutions while managing NoSQL databases, containerization with Docker and Kubernetes, and messaging frameworks like RabbitMQ and Kafka. Apply CI/CD principles using Bamboo and GitLab CI, and leverage Ansible for infrastructure as code. Maintain code integrity through Git source control and manage deployments via Helm Charts. This role requires a Top-Secret/SCI clearance and a Master's degree or Bachelor's plus significant experience. Salary ranges from $162,000 to $178,000.
Required Qualifications
- A current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance
- Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university
- Two (2) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
- Four (4) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
- Experience using the Linux CLI and Linux Tools
- Experience developing scripts using Bash/Python
- Recent software development experience using Java
- Recent software development experience using the Spring Framework including Spring Boot, Spring Data and Spring Integration
- Experience with NoSQL databases including MongoDB
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and containerd
- Experience with container orchestration technologies including Kubernetes
- Familiar with Messaging Frameworks such as RabbitMQ and Kafka
- Familiar with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools such as Bamboo and GitLab CI
- Familiar with IaC principles, methodologies, and tools including Ansible
- Experience using Git Source Control System
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite including Jira and Confluence
- Experience creating Helm Charts to deploy containerized services in a Kubernetes environment
