Job Summary
Graduate Hire for HP Spark Management Associate - Manufacturing Engineer in Penang. The role provides a comprehensive introduction to the field with hands-on experience and mentorship, and involves project management, data analysis, technical support, product development/testing, stakeholder engagement, and opportunities for continuous learning. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Electrical Engineering and strong skills in SPC/Lean Six Sigma, CAD software (SolidWorks/Creo), data analysis tools (Minitab/JMP, SQL), and exposure to automation tooling (PLC, Rockwell Automation, FactoryTalk). Travel up to 50% is indicated. TwoMalaysia-based office locations are Batu Kawan (Penang) and Senai (Johor); full-time employment is offered.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Electrical Engineering
- Process Simulation and Modeling
- Statistical Process Control (SPC)
- Lean Manufacturing Principles
- Quality Management Systems (ISO)
- Computer-Aided Design (CAD) Software Proficiency (SolidWorks, Creo)
- Problem-Solving and analytical skills
- Communication and teamwork abilities
- Experience with PLCs and factory automation tools (e.g., Rockwell Automation, FactoryTalk)
- Minitab/JMP data analysis tools
- SQL familiarity
