Job Summary

Lead technology audit engagements for clients in the energy and utilities sector, managing day-to-day execution including workplan delivery, team coordination, status reporting, and review of workpapers. Partner with client personnel to assess risks across cybersecurity, cloud assurance, IT general controls, and AI governance, translating technical audit issues for executive audiences. Supervise a team of consultants and senior consultants, facilitating project work plans, conducting performance appraisals, and providing mentorship. Drive high-quality deliverables while handling project management responsibilities such as budgeting, invoicing, and resource allocation. Collaborate across time zones and diverse teaming models to ensure seamless client service.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or business-related field)
  • 5+ years working in technology audit, consulting, assurance services, risk and control programs, or related field, either in professional services or industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications with specific emphasis on Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated experience with IT audit methodologies and developing necessary audit deliverables, including process flows, work programs, audit reports, and control summaries
  • Knowledge of Commonly used internal control frameworks, including COBIT, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, CIS, ITIL, NIST AI RMF, etc.
  • Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley Act provisions and methodologies for achieving compliance, in particular the technology implications and requirements
  • Knowledge and understanding of the energy and utilities industry
  • Leadership and direct supervisory experience of teams including conducting performance appraisals, mentoring and coaching, oversight and review of work, coordination across teams, and understanding how to motivate

Desired Qualifications

  • Professional certification such as CIA, CRMA, CISA, CISM, CISSP, or similar
  • Experience working across different teaming models, including offshore resources
