Job Summary
Ensure the safety of the building and residents by acting as the first point of call for incidents, liaising with NWH staff, emergency services, and voluntary or statutory agencies. Maintain accurate records and facilitate handovers to staff as required. Assist clients with claims for housing and associated benefits while providing engagement activities to promote social inclusion. Maintain a calm, professional approach while supporting vulnerable individuals in alignment with trauma-informed principles. This role reports to the Supported Housing Manager within North Wales Housing's Pendinas Scheme.
Required Qualifications
- Awareness of professional boundaries
- Understanding of safeguarding principles for children and vulnerable adults
- Awareness of the support needs of vulnerable people
- Demonstrable experience of working in a client centred environment
- Demonstrable experience of working in a confidential manner
