Job Summary
Deliver person-centered support services and programs to tenants in Supportive Housing following a "housing first" philosophy. Prepare, document, and implement personalized support plans while assisting with case management and monitoring client mental health and substance use. Provide life skills training, advocate for tenants with community agencies, and attend appointments for medical, psychiatric, and counseling needs. Coordinate maintenance requests, minor repairs, and pest control activities alongside administrative duties such as maintaining incident reports and tenant activity logs. Work a rotating schedule including Thursday to Saturday shifts and every other Wednesday, with on-call availability for night shifts.
Required Qualifications
- First Aid Certification
- Naloxone administration training
- Successfully clear a Vulnerable Sectors Criminal Record Check run by the Ministry of Justice
- Recent and related experience preferably in the non-profit housing sector or in a related social service field
- Demonstrated experience working with populations impacted by substance use and mental health challenges, homelessness, and/or other barriers to stable housing
- Knowledge of the psychosocial rehabilitation model
- Demonstrated ability to manage and balance role responsibilities and interpersonal dynamics in a fast paced, high pressure environment
- Working knowledge of harm reduction and Housing First theory and practice
- Proficient in MS Office programs including Word, Outlook and Excel
- Casual/on-call employment (candidates that are open to night shifts will be given preference)
Desired Qualifications

- Conflict resolution/crisis prevention training and experience
