Job Summary
Housing Support Worker (Maternity Cover) to join the Support Services Team. Responsible for managing a caseload of service users to help sustain tenancies and prevent homelessness, assessing needs and risks, assisting in setting and attaining targets, visiting service users in their homes, promoting user involvement, facilitating workshops and consultations, and working in a multi-agency environment to advocate for service users. Must collaborate with the Northern Ireland Housing Executive, demonstrate flexible working to meet changing service needs, and hold a valid EU driving licence with access to a car. Also required is the ability to monitor progress, record developments, and support users in developing skills to live independently within the community.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of one years’ work experience, working within housing or social care
- Proven ability to effectively support and work as a member of a team
- Full EU Driving licence and access to a car
- Strong verbal and written skills
- Ability to cope with changing priorities and able to multitask
- Flexible approach to work according to the needs of the service
- Satisfactory Access NI check
