Job Summary
The Housing Support Coordinator will provide ongoing housing support and stabilization services to a caseload of up to thirty clients, assist with the transition to independent housing, develop necessary skills for apartment responsibilities, and facilitate crisis intervention as needed. The role requires conducting home visits, maintaining contact with clients and service providers, serving as a liaison with Metro Housing Boston, assisting clients with housing searches and relocations, problem-solving housing-related issues, and keeping accurate records of client interactions. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in human services and knowledge of housing systems.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 21 years or older
- Human service experience necessary
- Knowledge of relevant human service agencies and housing systems
- Capacity to be self-directed, team-oriented, and flexible
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Background and driving record checks will be performed
