Job Summary
Housing Specialist responsible for helping members achieve housing goals and maintain wellness in the community. Duties include developing and maintaining housing options listings, safely transporting members to appointments using personal vehicle, coordinating with boards, care operators, county, and staff, documenting progress, providing on-the-spot crisis counseling, ensuring safety and well-being, completing time-sensitive paperwork, and supporting APR reports and HUD data in e-snap. Requires high school graduation and 2–4 years of direct care experience in mental health; California driver’s license and reliable transportation. Work hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm; in-person roles with localities in Modesto and Rancho Cordova, CA. Open interviews are held Wednesdays 2–4 PM at Rancho Cordova location.
Required Qualifications
- Education: graduation from high school and two to four years of direct care experience in mental health
- California driver’s license & current vehicle insurance/registration if driving; Reliable means of transportation capable of passing vehicle safety inspection if more than five years old
