Job Summary
The Housing Specialist assists individuals and families in securing permanent housing through various rental assistance programs while conducting assessments, application processes, and collaborating with landlords and case managers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in social work, human services, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in housing assistance, case management, or a related field
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of CityFHEPS, SOTA, FHEPS A, and FHEPS B programs
- Bilingual skills (preferred but not required)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
