Job Summary
As the Housing Specialist, you will facilitate transitions into independent housing for individuals with serious mental illness, providing essential support and interventions to maintain tenancy and prevent homelessness. You will utilize evidence-based practices, promote recovery, and assist individuals in navigating housing resources, while maintaining clinical documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Rehabilitative Counseling, or a closely related field
- Minimum of two years of experience working with individuals with SPMI or other mental health conditions
- Experience within a housing support setting (preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Commitment to evidence-based practices and a trauma-informed approach
- Current, valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
Additional Requirements
- Two (2) years of driving experience within the United States
