Job Summary

Conduct mock interviews, escort clients to appointments, and secure necessary documents to prepare residents for permanent housing. Review HRA 2010e applications, track client progress toward housing readiness, and match individuals with appropriate housing options and landlords. Coordinate with case management to submit applications, facilitate housing interviews, and conduct housing-related groups. Assist with move-ins and maintain relationships with fair market landlords to achieve program targets. This role requires a 35-hour work week, moderate physical activity, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Two years' experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Strong writing and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to use public transportation to accompany clients to appointments
  • Must be willing and able to engage in moderate physical activity to engage with street homeless individuals

Desired Qualifications

  • Substance abuse, homelessness, motivational interviewing, mental health conditions
  • knowledge of supportive housing and DHS housing programs
  • Previous experience working with homeless/formerly homeless populations, adults with substance abuse /dual diagnosis
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Experience with HRA 2010e, AWARDS /Foothold and CARES
