Job Summary
Assist housing team with follow-up services for former clients for one year to ensure successful transition; act as liaison between the program and NY/NY Housing providers; facilitate psycho-educational groups for current and former clients; assist in placing clients in housing; provide comprehensive case management to a caseload of current and aftercare clients; provide emergency first aid/CPR when needed; contribute to a team serving New Yorkers experiencing homelessness with a focus on housing stability and client well-being.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS degree preferred
- High School diploma/GED required
- Minimum two years experience working with homeless, mentally ill, or MICA population preferred
- Knowledge of the NY/NY housing system
- Basic computer literacy required
- CPR training certification or willingness to take training class in CPR
