Job Summary
Conduct housing needs and crisis assessments, manage a caseload of 50+ participants, and perform onsite and field-based service coordination for homelessness prevention and move-in assistance. Research and access new housing opportunities, maintain accurate participant files, and facilitate education groups on housing, employment, and resources. Provide direct linkage to community benefits, assist with documentation readiness, and represent Abode as a brand ambassador to external stakeholders and donors. Requires weekend and evening availability, a personal vehicle, and a Bachelor's degree in Human Services or Social Work.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Services, Social Work, Sociology, or equivalent experience
- 2 years of experience working with people facing homelessness, substance abuse issues and individuals in the criminal justice system
- Use of personal vehicle
- Proof of valid California Driver's License
- Current auto insurance
- Clean DMV record
- Ability to drive and transport participants when required
- Weekend and evening availability
