Job Summary
Bilingual Housing Resource Associate provides exceptional customer service to callers, clients, and visitors at housing centers; educates consumers about program offerings and community resources; conducts assessments and makes referrals/appointments; assists clients with resources and planning for housing needs; maintains detailed logs and real-time data entry; handles mail, supports workshops, and collaborates across departments; performs general clerical duties and helps identify issues affecting the department; requires 2 years’ experience in office reception/reception-related roles or a high school diploma with relevant experience; strong communication, Microsoft Office skills, and ability to organize in a fast-paced environment; onsite in Springfield, MA.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in office reception, call center, or related role; combination of experience and a high school diploma (or equivalent) may substitute
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) verbal and written skills
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Demonstrated ability in Microsoft Office and comfort learning new technologies
- Ability to organize and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and networking skills
- Knowledge of community resources is a plus
