Housing Outreach Advocate

Oversee Safehouse daily operations and supervise Safehouse staff (including Family Advocate and Housing Outreach Advocate) to ensure a safe, confidential, and supportive environment for survivors. Manage intake processes, assessments, resources connections, donation operations, and facility maintenance. Lead staff training on shelter procedures, coordinate with external agencies, prepare reports, and participate in on-call leadership rotations. Responsibilities include crisis intervention when needed, maintaining safety and confidentiality, scheduling and performance reviews, inventory and distribution of supplies,-shift coverage, and developing programming calendars for shelter residents and housing program participants. Requires strong crisis management, supervisory experience, trauma-informed approaches, and excellent communication and organizational skills. Bachelor’s degree and at least three years of managerial/supervisory experience preferred; mandatory 40-hour training and ability to handle physically demanding tasks and confidentiality with diverse populations.
