Job Summary
The Housing Navigator is responsible for providing case management support, which includes conducting intakes, needs assessments, and maintaining case notes for a caseload of 20-30 clients. Key responsibilities include assisting clients in obtaining necessary documents for housing, providing resources, and applying harm reduction methods. The role requires strong communication and organizational skills, a commitment to trauma-informed care, and the ability to conduct crisis intervention and risk assessments. A Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or equivalent experience is required, along with at least two years working with homeless individuals or seniors.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of Case Management experience working with homeless individuals or Senior Citizens
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or related field or equivalent experience
- Individuals with less than a BA/BS degree but with at least 4 years of experience working with long-term homelessness, low income, senior citizens or diverse populations
Desired Qualifications
- Fluency in Spanish is of significant value
- Working knowledge of mental health, behavioral health and recovery services
Additional Requirements
- A valid AZ driver’s license, proof of insurance, and a reliable vehicle are required
- This position requires current CPR certification
