Job Summary
Housing Monitor provides safety and security for residents, staff, and visitors within the housing facility and serves as a liaison with community resource agencies to coordinate needed services. Responsibilities also include delivering structured programming to promote proactive social and independent living skills. The role involves on-site presence with 24/7 responsiveness to urgent situations, and requires a High School Diploma or GED, CPR/First Aid certification, and proficiency with Microsoft Excel. Preferred candidates may have HMIS knowledge and prior experience with homeless and/or offender populations; college coursework or training in human services is a plus. This position is safety sensitive and subject to pre-employment drug testing.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- At least 6 months’ experience in human services, preferably with homeless adults, economically disadvantaged, mentally ill or chemically dependent.
- Current CPR/First AID Certification or within two months of hire.
- Software and Equipment Used: Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
