Job Summary
Accept and process overnight residents at the lodge/shelter, receive applicable fees, and monitor resident activity to ensure safety, security, and compliance with house rules. Maintain accurate records and logs, verify room order before and after resident arrival, and check fire equipment and window security. Open and close facility doors at designated hours, assign housekeeping tasks to residents, and record unique situations during shifts. Requires ability to lift under 25 lbs, with duties involving standing, walking, and sitting. Full-time evening/weekend shift with benefits including PTO and health insurance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- One year experience performing security or social service work preferred
- Ability to lift and carry and/or push/pull light (less than 25 lbs.) materials, supplies, and equipment
- Light mobility: duties are usually performed by a combination of standing, walking, and primarily sitting
