Job Summary
Conduct hotline calls, safety assessments, and intake paperwork for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking. Maintain accurate shelter records, monitor daily operations, administer drug and alcohol screenings, and mediate resident conflicts. Provide clerical support, assist with meals and cleaning, and support the Lead Housing Monitor to maintain smooth shelter operations in line with The Salvation Army's mission. Work Monday through Thursday from 12:00 am to 8:00 am earning $14.25-$14.50. One year vocational/technical school degree and six months experience required; ServSafe certification preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Ability to lift light objects weighing less than 24 pounds
- One year vocational/technical school degree and six months experience
- Equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge and skills and abilities
